XAVIERA ZAY BELL, MS, cHET, CD, PFP
Xaviera is the creator and founder of Zeal of Xander. She holds a Masters of Science degree and has worked in Corporate America for over 15 years. She has a diverse background in delinquency, dependency and mental health. Being a certified CBT and REBT coach she is determined to assist African American mothers through the process of grief. After losing her son Xander Monroe she determined that her pain must be purposeful. By wrapping herself in community services she became aware that all services were not targeted to all demographics of people. Xaviera’s concern with the gap in services for African American women in the area of infant mortality raised a concern as the black community's presence is disproportionate to any other race. It is her desire to create a climate within the black community to assist with openly grieving the loss of their children, to close the access to care gap within the community and to incite policy change that affects infant mortality. Her vision is that her work with bereaved families will help to create a purpose for their pain, meaning for their journey and healing after the death of their baby.
